What is Covered: Ambulance
Not covered except for medically necessary ground ambulance inter-facility transfers between approved health care facilities.

Inter-hospital transfers are covered for MSP beneficiaries; fees for other services are subsidized for MSP beneficiaries.

Covered for inter-facility transfers for diagnostic testing or treatment; to or from a more specialized level of care, or to a facility closer to home for rehabilitation or recovery.

Inter-facility transfers within the province and Air ambulance are covered. All other calls are subject ot a subsidized $130.60 fee (not including HST).

Not covered except when an in-patient of one hospital is conveyed to another hospital for special tests or treatment but remains an in-patient of the first hospital.

Not covered except for inter-hospital transfers.
