Certain medically necessary surgical-dental procedures which are performed in hospital by a dentist or oral surgeon. Some specific dental, oral and maxillofacial surgical services performed by a dentist outside a hospital fully covered (contact Province for detailed list of available treatments).

Routine dental services for children are available under the Children's Dental Care Program. Parents pay an annual registration fee of $15 per child to a family maximum of $35.
