Standard ward hospitalization in an approved hospital and in-patient services such as:

  • Accommodation and meals at the standard or public ward level
  • Necessary nursing services
  • Laboratory, radiological and other diagnostic procedures, together with the necessary interpretation, for the purpose of maintaining health, preventing disease and assisting in the diagnosis and treatment of any injury, illness or disability
  • Drugs, biologicals and related preparations when administered in a hospital, as specified in the Agreement
  • Use of operating room, case room and anaesthetic facilities, including necessary equipment and supplies, where available
  • Routine surgical supplies
  • Use of radiotherapy facilities, where available
  • Use of physical therapy facilities, where available
  • Services rendered by persons who receive remuneration for those services from the hospital
  • Outpatient services
Standard ward hospitalization in an approved hospital and in-patient services such as:

  • Accommodation and meals at the standard or public ward level;
  • Laboratory, radiological and diagnostic procedures;
  • Necessary nursing services;
  • Approved drugs administered in hospital;
  • Use of operating room, case room and anaesthetic facilities;
  • Radiotherapy and physiotherapy facilities where available;
  • Active rehabilitative treatment in a rehabilitation hospital;
  • Nursing care and medical supervision in an extended care hospital;
  • Emergency services or minor surgery; and
  • Out-patient services.
Standard ward hospitalization in an approved hospital and in-patient services such as:

  • Accommodation and meals at the standard ward level;
  • Necessary nursing services;
  • Laboratory, x-ray and diagnostic procedures;
  • Medications administered in a hospital;
  • Use of the operating room, care room and anaesthetic facilities;
  • Routine surgical supplies;
  • Occupational, speech and physiotherapy; and
  • Dietetic counselling.
Standard ward hospitalization in an approved hospital and in-patient services such as:

  • Accommodation and meals at the standard ward level;
  • Necessary nursing service;
  • Drugs administered while in the hospital;
  • Operating room, case room and anaesthetic facilities;
  • Laboratory, X-ray, and other diagnostic services as deemed necessar;y
  • Use of radiotherapy and physiotherapy facilities; and
  • Routine surgical supplies.
TStandard ward hospitalization in an approved hospital and in-patient services such as:

  • Accommodation and meals at the standard level;
  • Private and semi-private room charges covered if provided for medical reasons or if standard accommodation is not available;
  • Nursing services;
  • Laboratory, x-ray and other diagnostic procedures, e.g., EKG, Nuclear Medicine, Respiratory Therapy;
  • Drugs;
  • Medical and surgical supplies;
  • Operating Room, Labour & Delivery;
  • Use of radiotherapy facilities and radioactive isotopes where available;
  • Rehabilitative Services, e.g. Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Audiology, Speech Language Pathology; and
  • Outpatient services.
Standard ward hospitalization in an approved hospital and in-patient and out-patient services such as:

  • Accommodation and meals at the standard level;
  • Nursing services, when provided by the hospital;
  • Laboratory, x-ray and diagnostic procedures, and interpretation;
  • Drugs prescribed by a physician and administered in the hospital;
  • Use of the operating room, case room, and anaesthetic facilities required for diagnosis and treatment, including necessary equipment and supplies;
  • Radiotherapy treatment;
  • Occupational therapy, and physiotherapy; and
  • Detoxification services in an approved health facility.
Standard ward hospitalization in an approved hospital and in-patient services such as:

  • Accommodation and meals at the standard ward level
  • Nursing services
  • All labratory, x-ray and diagnostic procedures
  • Drugs prescribed by the physician or dentist and administered in hospital
  • Operating room, case room and anaesthetic facilities
  • Routine surgical supplies
  • Radiotherapy services
  • Physiotherapy services
  • Blood or therapeutic blood fractions
  • Outpatient services
Standard ward hospitalization in an approved hospital and in-patient services such as:
  • Accommodation and meals at the standard or public ward level;
  • Necessary nursing services;
  • Laboratory, radiological and other diagnostic procedures, together with the necessary interpretation, for the purpose of maintaining health, preventing disease and assisting in the diagnosis and treatment of any injury, illness or disability;

  • Services by an approved detoxification centre;and
  • Outpatient services.

  • Laboratory, radiological and other diagnostic procedures;
  • Drugs prescribed by the physician, dentist or midwife, and administered in the hospital;
  • Use of operating room, delivery room and anaesthetic facilities;and
  • out-patient services.

  • Accommodation and meals at the standard ward level;
  • Necessary nursing services;
  • Laboratory, radiological and other diagnostic procedures;
  • Formulary drugs prescribed by an attending physician and administered in the hospital;
  • Operating room, case room and anaesthetic facilities;
  • Routine surgical supplies;
  • Radiotherapy;
  • Physiotherapy received in hospital;
  • Services rendered by persons who receive remuneration from the hospital; and
  • Out-patient services.
Standard ward hospitalization in an approved hospital and in-patient services such as:

  • Out-patient services;
  • Accommodation and meals at the standard ward level;
  • Necessary nursing services;
  • Laboratory, radiological and other diagnostic procedures;
  • Formulary drugs prescribed by an attending physician and administered in the hospital;
  • Operating room, delivery room and anaesthetic facilities;
  • Routine surgical supplies;
  • Radiotherapy;
  • Physiotherapy received in hospital; and
  • Services rendered by persons who receive remuneration from the hospital.
Standard ward hospitalization in an approved hospital and in-patient services such as:

  • X-ray and laboratory services;
  • Diagnostic and surgical procedures;
  • Physiotherapy and occupational therapy services provided by facilities that have a contract with Saskatchewan Health; and
  • Out-patient services.

  • Services rendered by persons who are paid by the hospital and emergency and non-emergency out-patient services;
  • Accommodation and meals at the standard ward level; and
  • Routine surgical supplies.
